Jason Phillip Sweet, 41, departed this life on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017, along with his dog, Roscoe.
He was born on Sept. 23, 1975, a son of Jay (Jackie) Sweet of Volant, Pa., and Sandra (Bill) Howard of Clamath Falls, Oregon.
He leaves behind three sons, Brian, Kaden and Tristen and his forever, Robin Youren; and five brothers and three sisters, Jeremy (Angel) Sweet, Joshua McCaslin, Jesse McCaslin, Jennifer Hill, Jarod McCaslin, Terry (Janel) Sweet, Heather (Jimmy) Richards and Angela (Andy) Root. He was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jason lived in Las Vegas and Utah as a child.
For his work, he did a little of everything from sheepherding to making rocket fuel.
He loved living in the country, being outdoors, gardening, cooking and spending time with friends around the bonfire.
He is also survived by his ex-wife, Angela Barton.
A gathering will be held to celebrate Jason's life at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at Venture Church, Boardman, Ohio.
