Judith Ann Beck, 78, of Evergreen Road, New Bedford, died the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born in Hubbard, Ohio, on July 13, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Charles Robert and Ardis Belle Jones Doan.
She married William Harold Beck on Feb. 16, 1957. He survives at the residence.
Judy was a 1956 graduate of Hubbard High School and attended Kent State University.
She was one of the first EMS coordinators for Lawrence County.
Active in her faith, she and her husband, Pastor Bill Beck, were instrumental in sharing and nurturing others to join in the promises of our Savior. Judy was a member of the Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus.
Survivors include her husband, Bill, of the residence; two sons, William C. (Barbara) Beck of West Middlesex and Michael Brett (Jodi) Beck of New Wilmington; a brother, Thomas Doan of Greenville; a sister, Carolyn Lang of West Middlesex; and five grandchildren.
Her parents and her brother, Robert Doan, preceded Judy in death.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Victory Christian Center, Coitsville Campus.
Funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the church. Bishop David Thomas will be officiating.
Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Bedford.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Steve King Foundation or the Motor Racing Outreach by giving to Pastor Bill Beck.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Smith Funeral Home, New Wilmington.
