Leonard A. "Bobo" Agnello, 80, of Kittanning, formerly of Wampum, was called home by his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at his residence.
"Bo" was a veteran of the Army, serving in Frankfurt, Germany.
He was a cottage parent, barber instructor and bounty hunter, all at George Jr. Republic. At George Jr., he also coached and instructed the drill team, winning many competitions. There were many other occupations and he owned several businesses, thereafter, but the one he enjoyed the most was the amusement business. He was a ride owner/operator and concessionaire for more than 50 years, traveling to fairs and festivals in many states, feeding several, his unforgettable sausage sandwich and the best fresh-squeezed lemonade there was! Spreading laughter and joy wherever he went!
Left to mourn his passing is his loving companion of 20 years, Gloria Kunselman ... to whom we will be forever grateful to for the extraordinary love, care and dedication she gave to him; his former wife and friend, Jean Mars of New Beaver Borough; two daughters, Lisa Douglas of Wampum and Jeannie Kunselman of DuBois; two sons, David Agnello of Wampum and John (Kelly) Kunselman of Brookville; two brothers, Joseph of Anita and Richard Agnello (Nancy) of Anita; a brother-in-law, Bill Anderson of Texas; 14 grandchildren, Jordan, David and Michelle Agnello, Jonna, Kaylee, Brenden, Cody and Payton Kunselman, Alex Peace, Zac Dinger, Josi and Tessa Mansfield, and Holly and Megan Crees; and two great-granddaughters, Raelynn and Kinsley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lenny Agnello; his parents; four sisters; and three brothers.
Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street, Wampum.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Wimer officiating.
Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
