Louella D. Andorfer, 74, of New Castle passed away the morning of Thursday, April 20, 2017, at her residence.
Born on March 7, 1943, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Helen Reams.
On Jan. 16, 1992, she married her husband, Caleb (Max) Andorfer, and the two of them spent 16 years together until he preceded her in death on March 16, 2008.
After 35 years of working, Louella retired as a nurse's aide for Haven Convalescent Home.
She was a member of Gardner Chapel Church.
Louella was always known as a hard worker. In her earlier years, she enjoyed boating, and she liked to play bingo and to watch Steve Harvey and the Family Feud. Louella's greatest joy came from spending time with her family.
Louella is survived by her children, Leonard Ross and his wife, Vicki, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Paul Ross and his wife, Maria, of San Diego, California; her sister, Eleanor Norco of New Castle; her sister-in-law, Mary Richman of Edinburg; and her grandson, Tyler Leonard Ross.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Helen Ann Ross and Tina Ross; her son, Michael Ross; and her brothers, Bill Richman and Kenny Reams.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Darren Abraham.
Interment will take place in Oak Park Cemetery.
