Richard "Rick"'s Story
Richard "Rick" Roland Glass, 35, of Neshannock Township passed away the morning of Saturday, April 22, 2017, at his residence.
Rick was born on Dec. 6, 1981, in New Castle to Richard D. and Bobbette Harlan Glass. They both survive.
Mr. Glass was the shop manager for Allways Vinyl in Youngstown.
He was a graduate of Neshannock High School.
Rick had a passion for fishing, being with his family, watching the Cleveland Browns and the Pittsburgh Pirates and music.
He was a self-taught guitar player with an affinity for The Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan.
His big heart and Christian values were felt by many but, showed through his dedication to the NA program.
In addition to his parents, Rick is survived by his fiancee, Sara Clunan; his brother, Robert T. Glass; his sister and brother-in-law, Marlie D. and Brian Stein; his niece, Evelyn Stein, all of New Castle; seven aunts and six uncles, Barbara and Gregg Yoho, Beverly and Jim Kinsler, Cindy and Tim Kyle, Sharry and Jay Holdren, Deb and Bob Campman, David and Lisa Glass and Beth Eve; and 18 cousins.
Mr. Glass was preceded in passing by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his uncle, Daniel Glass.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rick's uncle, the Rev. David Glass, and the Rev. Daniel Houck will officiate.
Burial will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens.
