Rose DeVivo Rendulich, 96, of Youngstown passed away the evening of Friday, June 30, 2017, at Park Vista Senior Residence.
Born on May 13, 1921, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Thomas DeVivo.
On May 12, 1979, she married her beloved husband, Michael Rendulich, and the two spent more than 30 years together until he preceded her in death on Oct. 8, 2009.
Rose had worked as a clerk for many local stores, including Miller Shoe Store and Lustig's. She later retired as a secretary for Dr. Anthony Masters.
Rose enjoyed polka dancing and needlework, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and her cat, Si.
Rose is survived by her nephews, Thomas DeVivo, Thomas Zumpella, Bernard DeVivo and Alphonso DeVivo Jr.; her niece, Betty Ann DeVivo; and her cousins, Anita DeVivo and Janice Aubrey.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Alphonso DeVivo Sr., her sister, Barbara DeVivo Zumpella; and an infant twin sister, Michelina DeVivo.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to attend a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, officiated by the Rev. William Siple.
Interment will take place in St. Lucy Cemetery.
