Stacey Lynn Pierog Lambert, 43, of New Bern, N.C., passed away at her residence on Aug. 15, 2017.
Stacey was born in New Castle, Pa., on Sept. 23, 1973, the daughter of Arthur Pierog and Linda Hardisky Rachic.
Stacey was a class of 1991 graduate of Mohawk High School and a class of 1993 graduate of Jameson School of Nursing. In the accelerated nursing program, her entire career was caring for others in the nursing profession. Her nursing career took her and her son, Jacob, to North Carolina where she was a Nurse and Family Advocate at Coastal Children's Clinic in New Bern, N.C.
Her greatest joy in life was her son, Jacob, who is serving in the Marine Corps.
She leaves behind her son, Jacob Badger, a United States Marine stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C.; father and stepmother, Arthur and Cheryl Pierog of New Castle; mother and stepfather, Linda and Sy Rachic of New Middletown, Ohio; brothers, Brian (Jodi) Pierog and Cory Pierog, all of New Castle; stepbrothers, Joe (Jennifer) Rachic of Prince Frederick, Md,. and Chad (Amy) Rachic of Austintown, Ohio; grandparents, Jim and Delores Hardisky of Edinburg, Pa.; grandparents, Stanley and Genevieve Pierog of New Castle; grandparents, Jim and Irene Badger of New Castle; niece, Teagan; nephew, Caleb; and an array of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family will gather and receive visitors on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. until 11:45 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church on Main Street in New Middletown Ohio. Following the visitation, a Mass will begin at noon at the church with Father Larry Frient officiating. Local arrangements are entrusted to The Cunningham Funeral Home, Bessemer.
In lieu of flowers, donors can make donations in her name to charity of their choice.
