Wanda F. Mrozek, 92, of Canton, Ohio, formerly of Hermitage and Farrell, died Monday, June 12, 2017, at 11:50 a.m. at The Inn at Belden Village, Canton, after an extended illness.
The New Castle native was born Dec. 3, 1924, the daughter of the late Jon and Katherine (Supel) Sniezek.
She graduated from Union High School and worked at the A&P in Farrell and Sharon until it closed.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Sharon, and loved crocheting, gardening, baking and making her Polish recipes, bingo and polkas.
She worshipped her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathy Telesz and her husband, Bob, of Canton, and Karen Kuhn of Freedom; her grandchildren, Craig Telesz and his wife, Amy, of Columbus, Ohio, Leanne Monnot and her husband, Brian, of Massilon, Ohio, Christina Ford and her husband, Rick, of Chippewa and David Kuhn and his wife, Kristina, of New York, New York; and her great-grandchildren, Logan and Blake Telesz, Carrie, Megan and Corey Monnot and Isabella and Gianna Ford.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Al" Mrozek, whom she married July 20, 1946. He passed away Sept. 8, 2011.
She also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas W. Kuhn; three sisters, Cecilia Sniezek, Josephine Sniezek and Adeline Peplowski; three brothers, Stanley, John and Frank Sniezek.
