Adele Abraham, 92, of 617 E. Long Ave. died the morning of March 3, 2007, in New Castle. Born Sept. 15, 1914, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Sadie Abraham Moses. She was married to James Abraham. He died in 1988. Mrs. Abraham was retired from Hill View Manor, where she was laundry supervisor. In her earlier years, she attended the Butler Neighborhood House Church on Long Avenue. Survivors include a daughter, Linda Abraham of New Castle; a son, James Abraham of New Castle; nine grandchildren; 18 great-granchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Huizar; and a sister, Mary Moses Monsour. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A service will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. The Rev. Gregory Harrigle of St. Elias Orthodox Church will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
