New Castle, PA - It is with great sadness that the family of Alivia Grace Spiecher shares her unexpected passing on Jan. 5, 2026. Alivia, 17, was born on Aug. 1, 2008. A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Alivia will be remembered for her radiant smile and amazing heart. Alivia resided in Union Township with her father, Lowry Spiecher, stepmother, Maria Gerello and three siblings, Priya, Athena and Rodney James (RJ) Spiecher.

Family survivors also include her mother, Jessica Spiecher-Gumpp, and brother, Kylar; paternal grandparents Barb and Larry Spiecher; maternal grandparents John and Shari Comianos and many extended members of the family.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Aldo and Phylis Servedio and Dan and Betty Spiecher.

Alivia attended Vo-Tech High School in New Castle, Pennsylvania, studying cosmetology. She enjoyed trying new hairstyles and colors, excited to be the first model to try her creations. She was artistic like her father and loved to show off her drawings to her friends and family.

Alivia also had a love for animals and cared for them alongside her two sisters and brother at home. Together they enjoyed their two dogs and three guinea pigs. This love for her animals brought about a secondary interest in pursuing a career that included animal care.

Alivia was taken too young but will always live in our hearts. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.

A private service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St., conducted by Rev. Richard Nero.
