Allen Glenn 'Frenchy' Gravatt Obituary
Allen Glenn "Frenchy" Gravatt, a long time resident of Jackson Center, PA passed away while under hospice care at the home of his sister on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at 3:23 AM following an extended illness. He was 65.
Known by his friends and family as "Glenn"; he was born in Grove City, PA on Dec. 31, 1950 to Charles J. and Sara Brown Gravatt.
Glenn was a graduate of Grove City High School in the class of 1969. He loved to spend time with his family very much. Glenn was an avid hunter of deer, turkey and ducks. He loved to hunt with his brothers and brother-in-law along with his all of his nephews. He also loved to hunt with his black powder gun. Glenn also loved to fish with everyone from locally to fly-in trips to Canada with his brothers and nephews.
He was a roofer with the Local Union #71 of Youngstown for nearly 40 years. He formerly served as President of the union and currently was serving as Vice President.
A sister, Debora McCurdy and husband John, Jackson Center, a sister-in-law, Barbara L. Gravatt, Volant and many nieces and nephews, survive Glenn.
His parents, 2 sisters, Nancy H. Thompson and Rebecca I. Perrine and 3 brothers, Charles W., James J. and Carl G. Gravatt, preceded him in death.

Funeral Service: Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Bessemer Avenue, Grove City, PA on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Janet Pratt Minister of Methodist United in Faith officiating.
Visitation Hours: Cunningham Funeral Home, Inc., Grove City on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9:00 PM
Burial: Woodland Cemetery, Grove City.
