Grove City - Amanda Lorraine Sojack Knauff, 34, of Bessemer Avenue, Grove City, Pennsylvania, formerly of Volant, passed away May 7, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

She was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, to Chistopher Sojack and Joan Kennedy.

Amanda was a 2009 graduate of Wilmington High School and formerly worked in food service with the Wilmington Area School District.

She was a volunteer at Grove City Nutrition.

Survivors include her husband, Derek Knauff, of the residence; daughter, Bailey Guiste; son, Lyle Knauff; parents, Tom and Joan Garrett of Volant; brother, Michael (Carly) Sojack; niece, Kennedy; grandparents, Gerry Sojack and Norma Garrett; aunt, Elaine Marr (Mike); uncle, Dan (Debbie) Kennedy; and a special friend, Josie.

Amanda was preceded in death by her father, Christopher Sojack; grandparents, L.A. "Fuzzy" and Alice Kennedy and Mike Sojack, Chuck Garrett; three uncles and a dear friend.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at the Smith Funeral Home 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, with visitation one hour prior to the service at New Wilmington United Methodist Church, Mercer Street, New Wilmington PA, with Pastor Rebecca Rosengarth officiating.
