New Castle, PA - Andrew P. Stalma, 73, of 1562 Frew Mill Road passed away the morning of May 6, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Andrew was born April 2, 1952, in New Castle. He was the son of the late Walter and Josephine (Kraft) Stalma.

Mr. Stalma was of the Catholic faith.

Andrew was a graduate of Lawrence County Vocational-Technical School of Carpentry in 1970.

Mr. Stalma worked for several local companies and as an independent contractor for more than 40 years before retiring.

He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting in his earlier years and fishing. Andrew enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends, especially his dog, Shannon, and his Amazon parrot, Bubba.

Andrew is survived by two brothers, Walter Stalma and Russell (Nancy) Stalma, both of New Castle; two nieces, Kayla Farrell of Evans City, Pennsylvania, and Kelly Sharp of California; two nephews, Christopher Stalma of New Castle and Kurt Stalma of Arizona; and his longtime companion, Elaine Pritts of Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Stalma was preceded in death by both his grandparents and parents.
