Plantation, Florida - Anita L. Conti Ferrese, 81, of Plantation, Florida, passed away the afternoon of Oct. 28, 2025, at her home in Florida.

She was born Jan. 18, 1944, in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Orlando) Conti.

On Nov. 23, 1963, Anita married her beloved husband, Frank Fererese, and the two spent 62 years together.

She was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1961, and continued her education earning a degree in early childhood development from Broward College.

Anita retired after 37 years in banking as a loan officer for Tropical Financial Credit Union.

She enjoyed crocheting and feeding and watching the birds as they would come to her bird gazebo.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Frank, Anita is survived by her daughter, Megan; son-in-law, Erasmo; son, Frank; daughter-in-law, Kelly; and her five grandchildren, Nico, Joey, Emily, Josh and Jake.

Mrs. Ferrese was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters, Clara Assid, Jennie Cubellis, Pauline Graziani, Rosemarie Bordonaro and Norma Jean Iervoline.

A funeral mass will be held Dec. 6, 2025, at All Saints Catholic Church in Sunrise Florida, and a luncheon will follow.
