Ann Ambrosia Houk, 89, of Edinburg met her Lord and Savior to sing with the angels on June 27, 2023, at Avalon Place.
Born July 27, 1933, in New Castle, Ann was the daughter of the late John Tekeser and Anna Fritzman Tekeser Fakesh.
On July 18, 1981, she married her loving husband, William C. Houk. He resides at home.
Ann was member of Northminster Presbyterian Church, where she loved singing in the choir.
She worked in her early years for Bell Telephone as a operator and as an LPN.
Ann enjoyed horse trail riding, riding motorcycles, loved animals, flowers, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by a daughter, Melinda Ambrosia Parenti (Joseph); two sons, David Ambrosia and Richard Ambrosia (Suzanne); a stepson, Scott Houk; three grandchildren, Erin Innocenzi (Chris), Kayla Parenti (Andy Orens) and Joseph Parenti (Brittany); and a great-grandchild, Salvatore Innocenzi.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Joseph Ambrosia, Ann was preceded in death by a brother, John Tekeser; a half-brother, George Fakesh; and a granddaughter, Terri Lynn Quik.
A memorial service at Northminster Presbyterian Church will be announced at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to The Ed and Don Decarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
