New Castle, PA - Ann (Fleckenstein) Schultz, 80, passed away early morning on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital

May and Jim Fleckenstein welcomed her to the world on Jan. 18, 1945. Both preceded her in death.

On June 13, 1964, Ann married her beloved husband, John J. Schultz. John preceded her in death June 1, 2022.

A lifelong resident of New Castle, Ann enjoyed bowling, reading and dancing. She was known for hosting wonderful holiday gatherings.

She worked as an office manager for a retirement community and a physician practice.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her three children, Joseph Schultz, John Schultz and Jennifer Stalnecker; as well as her grandsons, Joseph and Jack Stalnecker and Brendin Angelo-Schultz; brother, Mark Howe-Vachon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Schultz; sister, Rosemary Fleckenstein; and brother, Jimmy Meehan.

Honoring her wishes, services are private.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

In lieu of a service, the family invites those who wish to honor her memory to consider a donation to Toys for Tots, a cause she volunteered with for several years.
