Edinburg, PA - Anthony "Butch" F. Cotelesse Jr., 81, of Edinburg passed away the evening of March 17, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio.
Born Oct. 23, 1944, in New Castle, Butch was the son of the late Anthony Cotelesse Sr. and Rose Lavella Cotelesse.
On June 4, 1966, Butch married his beloved wife, the former Mona Ribarich. Mona survives at home.
Butch had worked as a roller for National Steel for over 40 years, until he retired.
He had proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserves.
Butch was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Butch was known as a good, quiet and kind person. He loved animals and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Above all, Butch was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Mona, for 60 years.
Honoring his wishes, a private Blessing Service will be held at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Deacon John Carran will officiate. Burial will be in Parkside Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrence County Humane Society, 628 Pearson Mill Road, New Castle, PA 16101.
