Antonette Nase MacIntrye ("Toni") Obituary

Antonette "Toni" Lee MacIntyre, 83, of North Jefferson Street died Sunday, March 27, 2022.

She was born on Sept. 23, 1938, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Frank and "Mitzi" (Calabria) DeMattio

Antonette was a former employee at the Lawrence County Courthouse, waitressed at several local restaurants and babysat for several families throughout her life.

She enjoyed music, especially Neil Diamond. She loved movie and music trivia, ready with an answer if anyone was stumped. She tuned into the Gameshow Network and loved her scratch-off tickets and playing her "numbers."

For all the people and things she loved, her children and grandchildren were the love and joy of her life.

She is survived by three children, Deanna Nase, Jeff Nase and Kevin MacIntyre, all of New Castle; one sister, Lena (John) Rosati; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Zachary, and Susie; and her former husband, Ken MacIntyre. She was "Sissy," to several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William Nase; her parents; and her beloved nephew, Timmy Rosati.

On March 30, 2022, private services were held at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.

She was laid to rest in St. Vitus Cemetery.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at St. Vitus Church of Holy Spirit Parish, Father Brendan Dawson officiating.

Friends and family are invited to join in this Memorial Mass of celebration.
