Bernard "Bud" Daugherty, 89, passed away on October 22, 2019, at the Haven.
Born on July 6, 1930, in Weirton, WV, he was the son of the late Clyde and Carrie Ramsey Daugherty.
On July 3, 1954, he married his beloved wife Laura Daugherty and she survives.
Bud was a member of First United Brethren Church.
Bud had served his country in the United States Air Force.
He was a member of the Castlewood Rod & Gun Club. Bud enjoyed hunting and spending time at his camp in Tionesta.
Bud is survived by his children, Steven Daugherty and Jeff Miller, Robert Yakubik and his wife Cheri, Patrick Daugherty and his wife Judy, Daniel Daugherty, all of New Castle, Katherine Sandora and her husband George of Cranberry Township, and Carrie Golba of Naples, FL, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents Bud was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and H. Patrick, and his daughter-in-law Cathy Daugherty.
Visitation will be on Thursday 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 South Mill St.
A service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Bud's son Rev. Patrick Daugherty and Rev. Marc Stephenson of First United Brethren Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Savannah Cemetery.
