Coral Springs, FL - Bertha "Bert" Adamo, 82, formerly of New Castle, passed away Dec. 29, 2025, in Coral Springs, Florida.

Born May 5, 1943, in New Castle, Bert was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Anna M. D'Ostilio Naple.

On July 25, 1964, Bert married her beloved husband, Dr. Nicholas Adamo. He preceded her in death July 28, 2001.

In the early years, Bert had worked in retail as a merchandise buyer of jewelry and cosmetics for Bloomingdale's and John Wanamaker department stores. Bert later worked in real estate.

Bert was a member of St. Catherine's Parish in Coral Springs, Florida, and also at St. Dominic Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio.

Bert was known as a generous, authentic and giving person. She enjoyed shopping and traveling. Bert's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends.

Bert is survived by her significant other of 17 years, Vince Julian; her sister, Sandy Naple; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; her other relatives; and many friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bert was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Naple; and her nephew, Jeffrey Naple.

A Mass of Christian burial was held for the family at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church, with Father Benjamin Barr officiating.
