New Castle, PA - Beth A. Schell, 71, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on the afternoon of Sept. 26, 2025, at UPMC Passavant Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born June 4, 1954, in New Castle, she was the cherished daughter of the late Kenneth K. and Rosemary E. (Cochran) Kauffman.

On Sept. 16, 1988, Beth married her beloved husband, Roger Schell, sharing 37 wonderful years together. Roger remains at their home, cherishing her memory.

Beth attended Neshannock School District and later graduated from Lawrence County Area Vocational Technical School.

She dedicated several years to meaningful work at United Way and Columbia Gas Company, and most recently was employed at TL Ferguson Builders and Landscape Supply before retiring.

Above all, Beth's heart belonged to her family. She was a constant presence at every game, musical, concert and special event, always cheering on her grandchildren with love and encouragement. Beth enjoyed the beach, where she found peace and joy in the sand and waves.

A devout woman of faith, Beth was a dedicated member of Family Worship Center and found great joy participating in church services and events. Her kind, nurturing spirit and unwavering love touched all who knew her.

In addition to her husband, Beth is lovingly remembered by her daughters, April Calton (Jim DeGeronimo) and Lauri (Matt) Buly; her son, Stephen Mitchell; her brothers, Rev. Mark (Jill) Kauffman, Kenny (Joni) Kauffman II and Rev. Kris (Kelly) Kauffman; her five cherished grandchildren: Avery, Emery and Brett Calton, and Brooks and Brinn Buly; and many nieces and nephews who deeply cherished her.

In accordance with Beth's wishes, there will be no visitation or formal services.
