New Castle, PA - Betty Kay (McFall) Maher passed into glory with her Savior on Dec. 24, 2025.

Betty Kay was born Feb. 17, 1927, to Donald and Ruth (Flaugher) McFall.

She was a lifelong resident of the New Castle area and a recent resident at The Haven.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jeremiah "Jerry" L. Maher Jr.; and her sister, Nancy St. Espirit.

She is survived by her children, Robert Dean of Republic, Washington, Karen Burkett (Richard "Rick"), Janice Morgan (Richard "Rick") and Jeremiah "Jay" Maher (Judy), all of Neshannock Township, and Donald Maher (Joan) of Longmont, Colorado;, as well as 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; her sister, Donna Messner; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Betty Kay was a co-founder and owner of the Quilting Bee in New Wilmington. In her retirement, she volunteered with hospice and Promises of Life Network.

At her request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. A memorial celebration of her life will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026, at Hillcrest Presbyterian Church, 5114 Perry Highway, Volant, PA 16156.
