Brian P. Sorbo Sr., 54, of Brandon, Florida, passed away the afternoon of Friday, May 6, 2016, at Tampa General Hospital.

Brian was born in New Castle on Dec. 6, 1961, to the late Andrew A. Jr. and Carole A. Coulter Sorbo.

He married the former Janet Crowthers on June 13, 1998.

He worked as a housekeeping supervisor at the Amalie Arena in Tampa.

Brian was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia Flyers.

In addition to his wife, Brian is survived by his children, Brian Sorbo Jr. of Virginia, Stacey Sorbo of New Castle and Louis Sorbo of Connecticut; his stepchildren, Shannon Domenic, Justin Ross and Jason Ross, all of New Castle; eight grandchildren; a brother, Andrew W. Sorbo of Wampum; and two nieces, Mandy Christ and Michelle Sorbo, both of New Castle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane L. Sorbo in 1971.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Turner-Myers Funeral Home, 208 N. Jefferson St.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home and will be conducted by the Rev. Marsha Parrish, UPMC-Jameson Hospital Chaplain.
