Bruce L. Drotleff Sr.
Bruce L. Drotleff Sr., 64, of Slippery Rock Township passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at his home from an apparent heart attack.
Born February 28, 1956, in Ellwood City, he was the son of the late William and Anna Mae (Householder) Drotleff.
He was married to Karen Tanner Drotleff for 18 years as they were married September 15, 2001. She survives.
Bruce worked for PA Department of Transportation out of Lawrence County. He was also a self-employed farmer. He loved farming, especially making straw, hay and grain and raising chickens. He enjoyed gardening.
Bruce also enjoyed neighborhood pool parties and helping family and friends. His favorite times were spent with his children and grandchildren and his dogs Ruby and Zuri.
In addition to his wife, Karen, survivors include two daughters, Tamara (Mike) Drotleff of New Waterford, Ohio, Emily Drotleff at home; one son, Bruce L. (Hannah) Drotleff Jr. of New Castle; three grandchildren, Mackenzie Drotleff and Landon and Grace Shaw; three sisters, Renee (Carl) Shirey of New Castle, Lynn Doone of Fairfax, Virginia, Robin (Rick) Arrow of League City, Texas;and a brother, Barry Drotleff of Dunsville, Virginia
Bruce deserves a beautiful tribute. However, we appreciate in this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic that attending a visitation may not be in your best health interest. A private service will be held. A Celebration of Bruce's life will be announced at a later date. Please be with us in prayer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Marshall Funeral Home, Ellwood City.

Dear Karen and Emi!y,
Our hearts have been so sad since we read that Bruce had passed away suddenly. We both enjoyed talking with him at Park Place. He was a really great guy and we will really miss seeing him.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. My childhood memories always include him with his brother, sisters and cousins. Bruce will be missed. My sympathy as well as we aren't able to physically gather to support you in your time of sadness. My prayers are with you.
