Carol Lea Cameron, 59, of Pulaski Township, West Middlesex, Pennsylvania, passed away at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, on Wednesday, March 13, 2019.

Carol was born in 1959 in Grove City, Pennsylvania.

Carol was a 1977 graduate of Grove City High School and began her college education at Slippery Rock University before graduating from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1981.

She most recently worked as a Title 1 Instructional Professional at Mohawk Elementary School.

Carol enjoyed walking, traveling, taking trips to the beach and bowling. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and making others smile.

Survivors include husband, Russell L. Cameron of West Middlesex; sons, Mark A. Cameron (fiancee Rachel Vesia) of Tallahassee, Florida, and Douglas R. Cameron (wife Angela) of Chesterfield, Virginia; parents, Thomas and Betty Sopher of Grove City; sister, Cheryl Rice of Bluffton, Ohio; half brother, Jim Rice of Phoenix, Arizona; and granddaughters, Avery and Taylor Cameron.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Dawson, and father, Charles Rice.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at Smith Funeral Home, 310 W. Neshannock Ave., New Wilmington, with Pastor Bill Beck presiding.

Family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. and 7 until 9 p.m.Tuesday, March 19, at the Smith Funeral Home in New Wilmington.

Interment will be at Castle View Memorial Park in New Castle.
