New Castle, PA - Carol Ann Laurenza, 81, of Neshannock Township passed away the afternoon of March 3, 2026, at Jameson Care Center.

Born Sept. 25, 1944, in New Castle, Carol was the daughter of the late Frank "Chick" Ross and Phyllis DiMuccio Ross.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony "Monk" Laurenza. The two were married Dec. 15, 1979.

Carol retired from the Neshannock Township School District after 30 years as a beloved bus driver who cared for and loved so many children throughout her career.

Carol had an exuberant personality. She was sure to make an entrance everywhere she went. Her smile lit up the room and she left everyone feeling better about themselves.

Her classy style was apparent in her clothes, shoes and jewelry, as she always looked stylish.

Her greatest achievement was her relationship with her family. Her husband, children and grandchildren could always count on her for having the best words of wisdom and encouragement.

Her legacy will live on through family, friends and relatives, as the memories are boundless.

In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by her three children, Toniann Laurenza Kelly (Shawn), Jon Ambrosia (Maureen) and Dr. Todd Ambrosia (Joe); her sister, Patty Vukela; and three grandchildren, Franco Kelly, Sydney Ambrosia and Noah Ambrosia.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. Family and Friends will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday for a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church. Father Aaron Kriss will officiate. Entombment will be in Parkside Cemetery.
