New Castle, PA - Carrie A. Marshall, 71, of 107 S. Mulberry St., New Castle, passed away the afternoon of Dec. 18, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Carrie was born July 2, 1954, in New Castle and a lifelong resident.

She was the daughter of the late John and Vera (Cubbal) Brophy.

Mrs. Marshall was a graduate of New Castle High School, class of 1972.

She will be remembered by her family as a loving sister, mother and memaw.

Carrie also worked outside her home a cook with Medure Catering and manager of Rena Catering.

She enjoyed doing all types of crafts, especially holiday wreaths decorations.

She was very community-oriented, donating to local churches and women's shelters.

Her family was her number-one priority, and she enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren, preparing many of their favorite meals.

Mrs. Marshall is survived by her three children, Shannon (Richard) Cooper, Joel Marshall Jr. and Ashley (fiancé Patsy Carbone) Marshall, all of New Castle; brothers, John (Betty) Brophy of Georgia and Joseph Brophy of New Castle; sister, Vera (Raymond) Klik-Angelo of New Castle; brother-in-law, William Rees; five grandchildren, Blaine (Anna) Hoffman, Sophie Comaduran, Logan (Adriana) Cooper, Chase Comaduran, and Jaxyn Carbone.

In addition to her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Rees; two brothers, Gary Paul Brophy and Dennis Brophy; and (ex-) husband, Joel Marshall Sr.

Following her wishes, there are no calling hours or services scheduled at this time.
