New Castle, PA - Charles "Bud" A. Allwine, 66, of New Castle passed away the evening of Dec. 19, 2025, at his residence.

Born June 10, 1959, in New Castle, Bud was the son of the late Charles and Vera Bridges Allwine.

On Nov. 21, 1981, Bud married his beloved wife, the former Deborah Hookway. She survives at home.

Bud was an avid NASCAR and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He also enjoyed spending time in his garage and watching John Wayne movies.

A loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Bud's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Bud is survived by his daughter, Christina Brown (Lou); three sisters, Debbie Kirkwood, Jodi Wischerman and Sally Reno (Tom); eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his son, James A. Allwine; and his daughter, Megan Allwine.

Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Richard Nero officiating.
