Girard, Ohio, Ohio - Charlotte Nachim, 97, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Greystone Country Estates in Fredonia, Pennsylvania.

Charlotte was born Aug. 23, 1927, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Kazmier and Marcella Dombrowski Bielak. She was a 1945 graduate of East Brook High School and moved to Warren in 1949 before settling in Girard.

Mrs. Nachim was a devoted member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Youngstown, where she was active in many church organizations and events, including the parish pyrohy project.

Charlotte enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with her extended family.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family members throughout the area.

Her husband of 58 years, Harry Nachim, whom she married Nov. 8, 1959, preceded her in death April 21, 2017. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Bielak and John Okomski; and three sisters, Stella Rendziniak, Helen Telesz and Victoria Okomski.

Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 526 W. Rayen Ave. Youngstown, where a funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, where Charlotte will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband.
