Clair Eugene Robinson, 89, of Hazen Street, New Castle, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at his home in New Castle.

He was born July 31, 1929, in New Castle, a son of the late Charles and Anna (Collingwood) Robinson.

He was married to the late Erma Mae (Pritsch) Robinson, who died in 2007.

Mr. Robinson was owner and operator of Robinson Service Equipment Co. and Robinson Trucking for a number of years. He worked in delivery for Double R Plastics and Hovis Auto Parts.

He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Robinson was a member of the Eagles Club, was a 32nd Degree Mason, the Shriners, Polish Falcons and Lawrence County Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting and traveling.

He is survived by two brothers, Jim R. Robinson of New Castle and Charles W. Robinson of Cooper City, Florida; his companion, Laura Zduniak of New Castle; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, R. Ronald Robinson.

There are no services scheduled at this time.
