Clara D. Gingras, 80, of Center Avenue, West Pittsburg, died Monday, March 11, 2019, at UPMC Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

She was born Feb. 27, 1939, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Francesco and Philomena (Martrella) DiVitto.

Mrs. Gingras was a waitress and bartender at Frengel's Restaurant for 20 years.

She enjoyed crocheting, baking and making crafts.

She is survived by four children, Frank J. Gingras and his wife, Gale, of New Castle, Gene A. Gingras and his wife, Vickie, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Phyllis A. Heasley of New Castle and Kelli J. Cameron and her husband, Dale, of New Castle; a brother, Angelo DiVitto of London, England; 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Anthony F. Gingras; two brothers, Ovidio "Sonny" DiVitto and Frank DiVitto Jr.; two sisters, Rose Sanchez and Nancy Voras; and a grandson.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave.

Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating.
