Constance K. Amodie, 74, formerly of 2638 Old Butler Road, New Castle, passed away the evening of Dec. 7, 2020, at UPMC Passavant-McCandless.

Constance was born on April 8, 1946, in New Castle. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance (Falba) Krueger.

Constance was married to the late David L. Amodie. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2018. They were married for 13 years.

Constance was a graduate of Shenango High School, class of 1964.

Mrs. Amodie retired after numerous years of service in the business office at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

She enjoyed reading and writing poetry. Mrs. Amodie loved playing the lottery and scratch-off tickets.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Amodie is survived by three daughters, Christie (Randy) Robinson, Barbara Pursell and Jamie Pursell, all of New Castle; two sisters, Barbara Lidak and Diane McConnell, both of New Castle; three grandchildren, Kayla Koszela, Kiley Koszela and Cody Koszela; and one great-grandchild, Keandre Ware.

In addition to her parents and husband, David, Constance was preceded in death by two sisters, Laurel Frank and Judith Crews.

Following her wishes, there are no calling hours or service scheduled at this time.
