David E. Jackson, 62, of New Castle, passed away Dec. 3, 2022.
Born Sept. 23, 1960, in New Castle, David was the son of the late Bernard W. and Phyllis Gene Anderson Jackson.
David had worked in the entertainment business as a D.J.
He was an avid football fan. David also enjoyed working on and repairing cars. A loving father, brother and grandfather, David's greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.
David is survived by his daughter, Marcia Jennings; two brothers, Bernard and Melvin Jackson; one sister, Marcia Jackson; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and two nephews.
Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home at. Gary Mitchell, minister, will officiate.
