David Kineston, 70, of Shenango Township, passed away at his residence Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
David was born in Carlton, Mercer County on Jan. 16, 1954. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Rosemarie Jones on Nov. 3, 2020. They were married July 26, 1975. David was a self-employed auctioneer. He was a member of Divine Grace Parish, Holy Redeemer Church. David enjoyed his vacations but mostly enjoyed the time he had to spend with his grandchildren.
Surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Tina Kineston of Shenango Township; five grandchildren, Dillon, Madison, Hemi, Tina and Laela; and five great grandchildren.
Besides his wife, David was preceded in death by a son, David Kineston, Jr.; and three brothers, Jim, John and William Kineston.
Friends will be received at the Joseph A. Tomon, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport on Sunday, July 7, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Redeemer Church on Monday, July 8 at 10 a.m. by Fr. Joseph Freedy.
Interment will follow in Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
