David Neil May Obituary

New Castle, PA - David Neil May, 87, of New Castle, passed away Friday morning, July 10, 2026, in his home.

Mr. May was born May 25, 1939, in Ripley, New York, a son of the late Clarence and Arlowene (Seeley) May. He was a 1957 graduate of New Castle Area High School.

For over 35 years, David owned and operated May's Donuts.

An avid bowler, he was a former member of the PBA and is a current member of the Lawrence County Sports Hall of Fame for his bowling career.

David is survived by his two sons, Tim May, of New Castle, and David M. May and his wife, Sharon, of Hillsville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Nolan May, and his spouse, the former Mary Forester.
