New Castle, PA - Deanna R. Boyd, 77, of New Castle passed away the evening of March 24, 2026, at UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Born May 11, 1948, in Solomons Island, Maryland, Deanna was the daughter of the late Kenneth T. and Alfreda V. Hill Brown.

Deanna had worked as a secretary for St. Francis Hospital and Jameson Hospital until she retired. She then worked for a time at Dr. Callahan's office as a medical secretary.

Deanna was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.

She enjoyed crafting and gardening.

A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Deanna's greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Deanna is survived by her two children, Brian Boyd (Melissa) and Carin Daly (James); her brother, Robert Brown; her sister, Alice Link; four grandchildren, Randi Slusher (Chris), Nicholas Boyd (Ariel), Dusty Ramsey and Brent Manos; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Deanna was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Brown Jr.

A Blessing Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 1, at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate.
