New Castle, PA - Debra L. Perales, age 66 of New Castle, Pennsylvania, passed away the evening of March 12, 2025, at her residence.

Born Oct. 3, 1958, in New Brighton, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late James and Madelyn (Minnitti) Cable.

She was married to Mario Perales, who preceded her in death.

Debra was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School.

She went on to work as a federal officer, employed by Homeland Security, until her retirement.

Debra was an advocate of the Wounded Warrior Project, and the family asks that memorial contributions be offered to www.woundedwarriorproject.org in her memory.

Survivors include one daughter, Tina Grangenois of New Castle, Pennsylvania; one sister, Cindy Carbone of New Castle, Pennsylvania; two nephews, Jeff Carbone Jr., and James Cable, both of New Castle, Pennsylvania; and her beloved chocolate lab, Izzy.

In addition to her parents and husband, Debra was preceded in death by one brother, James Cable.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 6 p.m., with Pastor Jordan Rimmer of Northminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
