Dennis James Altman Obituary
Dennis James Altman, 71 of Volant, Pennsylvania, passed away at AHN Grove City on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2023. Survivors include Tammy Anne Rice, his wife and partner of 42 years; daughter, Crystal (Kevin) Collins, and grandchildren, Sean and Emilie of Mount Airy, Maryland; son, David of Colorado, and granddaughters, Morgan and Cassie.
Born June 8, 1951, to Lester Hamilton Altman and Helen Mae Siddall Altman and raised in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Dennis served in the Air Force upon graduation before returning to Pennsylvania, where he met Tammy.
The family relocated to and spent 20 years in Colorado, where they enjoyed camping, cattle ranching and racing sprint cars, eventually returning to their roots in Pennsylvania.
While there will be no public services, we suggest memorializing Denny by spending time admiring nature or donating to the Arbor Day Foundation in Denny's name.
