Dennis E. Musser Obituary

Enon Valley - Dennis E. Musser, 75, of Enon Valley, passed away peacefully at his home Aug. 1, 2026.

Born Aug. 2, 1950, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, Dennis was the son of Dwight E. and Ruth Paden Musser.

A lifelong dairy farmer, Dennis devoted his days to the land, the animals and the community he loved. He had a passion for collecting antique Farmall tractors and attending tractor pulls, especially doing double tree. Dennis took great pride in encouraging younger generations to get involved in pulling and spent many years helping square dance teams prepare for competition at the Pennsylvania Farm Show.

He cherished watching his family exhibit cattle and livestock throughout the summer show season and delighted in his long-standing participation in the calf dress-up contest at the Canfield Fair.

Dennis' enthusiasm, humor and steady presence made him a beloved figure in every arena he touched.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 39 years, Betsy Musser; his son, Daryl (Christine) Musser of Bessemer; daughters, Dawn Musser of New Castle and Cassie (Nate) Rassau of Enon Valley; and grandchildren, Allison and Andrew Musser.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dwight and Ruth Musser; and his daughter, Darlene Musser.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 8, with a celebration of life immediately following, at the family farm, Den-Be Farms, 407 Hope Road, Enon Valley, PA 16120.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Shriners Children's Erie, 1645 W. 8th St., Erie, PA 16505.
