New Castle, PA - Diane C. Angelilli, 78, of Neshannock Township passed away the evening of Aug. 2, 2026, at the Celebration Villa of Chippewa.

Born Oct. 1, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, Diane was the daughter of the late Donald and Elvira Mancuso Lightner.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband, Charles E. Angelilli. The two were married June 15, 1985.

Diane had worked as a Spanish teacher at Montour High School until her retirement in 2001.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.

Diane was an avid reader and enjoyed music. She also liked to decorate her home, especially for all the holidays, and framing photos.

Diane's family and her dogs were everything to her. She loved spending time with all of them.

In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her brother, Frank E. Lightner; her sister, Mary Susan Marcotullio (Sam); her niece, Sarah Dado (Matt); her nephew, Samuel G. Marcotullio Jr. (Nicole); and four great-nieces and great-nephews.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to noon Friday, Aug. 7, at the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 3000 Wilmington Road. A Blessing Service will follow at noon Friday at the funeral home. Deacon John Carran will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio.
