Dominick Russo, 75, of Ellwood City passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022, at UPMC Mercy.
Born in New Castle on May 9, 1947, Dominick was the son of the late Bennie and Mary Rossi Russo.
He married the former Kathleen Tomon on April 24, 1969.
Dominick worked at Medusa Cement and later retired from CEMEX. After his retirement, he also worked at American Eagle in Cranberry Township.
A member of Divine Grace Parish, Dominick enjoyed cooking and baking, hunting and fishing, and working on cars. He was always doing something for someone.
Dominick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen; three sons, Dominick (Beverly) Russo of Clover, South Carolina, Brian (Jennifer) Russo of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and Daniel Russo of Ellwood City; four grandsons; Nick, Nathan, Zachary and Carter; a great-granddaughter, Lucia; two stepgrandchildren, Scott and Angel; and 10 stepgreat-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Dominick was preceded in death by his brother, Salvatore Russo.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at the Joseph A. Tomon Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.
A Blessing Service will follow the visitation at 8 p.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Mark Thomas of Divine Grace Parish officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dominick's name to the donor's favorite charity.
