Donald C. Sipe Jr., 72, died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019, at Golden Hill Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 8, 1946, in Rome, N.Y., to the late Donald C. and Inez Emery Sipe Sr.
He served two tours in Vietnam in the Marine Corps.
He worked for PennDot for many years and was a longtime member of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Mary Martha Shaffer Sipe; four children, Donald C. (Amy) Sipe, Ronald Sipe, Jennnifer Sipe and Mrytle Sipe; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, James D. Sipe; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Sipe; and a brother, Phillip Sipe.
Private services are entrusted to Smith Funeral Home of New Wilmington. Interment will follow at Mount Herman Cemetery.
