Donna M. Aluisia Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of Donna M. Aluisia, 73, of 1702 Jackson Ave. on the afternoon of Monday, April 24, 2006, in Jameson Hospital after a courageous fight with a lengthy illness. Donna gave unconditional love as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Her passing will leave a tremendous void in the lives of all she touched. She was born April 6, 1933, in New Castle, a daughter of the late Felix and Nora Buccelli Deli. She married Daniel Aluisia on Sept. 13, 1952. He survives. Mrs. Aluisia was a homemaker and worked at the former Walmo School in the cafeteria for five years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Noryne and Richard Zacharewski, and Joy and Joe Audino, all of New Castle, and Sharyn and Larry Mangino of Richmond, Va.; two brothers, John Deli of New Castle and Carmen Deli of Rossville, Ga.; four sisters, Pearl Palmer of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Sara Barbato, Clara Lombaiso and Angeline DeGaton, all of New Castle; five grandchildren, Brandee, Carlee, Joe, Asheligh and Brittany; and three great-grandchildren, Antonio, Ramirez and Lorenzo. A private visitation will be conducted at the William F. and Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Ave. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Vitus Church.
