New Castle - Donna Lee (Peterson) McGraw, 82, affectionately called MeMe by her grandchildren, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home June 12, 2025, surrounded by her family and listening to music by Toby Keith.

She was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Rochester, Pennsylvania, to Alexander and Marie (Maier) Peterson.

Donna married Thomas Owen McGraw on Sept. 19, 1964. He preceded her in death Jan. 7, 2016. Together, they had three daughters, Sonia Hunter, Tracey (Terry) Meanor and Lesley (Randy) Hofius.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish Lawrence County and a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 638.

Donna loved spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, watching the Pittsburgh Penguins, wearing large dangly earrings and listening to Toby Keith.

Donna is survived by her three daughters; 10 grandchildren, Thomas (Samantha) Emery, Owen (Amber) Meanor, Garrett Meanor, Allison (Derrek) Cook, Mikayla Meanor, Kasidy (Aaron Kokoruda) Hunter, Alaina (Blaine) McKeough, Vincent Soukovich, Madison Soukovich, and Meadow Hofius; 10 great-grandchildren, Savannah, Emma, Mason, Carmelina, Bailey, Logan, Avery, Lydia, Abigail and Hayes; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by her siblings, Ronald Peterson, Robert Peterson, Ruth Hovanec and Marlene Pasteur.

The family would like to thank Family Hospice of UPMC and Father Ben Barr for all of their help through this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held on July 6, 2025, at her daughter's home. She will be laid to rest in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Bessemer, Pennsylvania.
