New Castle, PA - Doris L. Park-Catron, 94, of Shenango Township passed away the evening of June 29, 2026, at UPMC Jameson Hospital.

Doris was born Dec. 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Miles and Mary Shick Courson.

She married her husband, John M. Park Sr. He preceded her in death in 1967.

Doris worked for many years as a custodian for Shenango Area School District.

She enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and going to the casino with friends. Most of all, she enjoyed the time spent with her family.

Doris is survived by her three children, John Park Jr. (Marsha), Elaine Altman and Thomas Park; her brother, David Courson (Naomi); nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by six brothers; three sisters; and her granddaughter-in-law, Adrian Park.

Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. Monday, July 6, at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home, 3000 Wilmington Road, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 4 p.m officiated by Pastor Norbert Levesque of Mercer Baptist Church.
