Doris Mae Woloszyn, 85, of Chewton passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Quality Life of New Castle.

Born on April 18, 1937, in Wayne Township, Doris was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jessie Keith Wallace.

Doris was preceded in death by the love of her life, Andrew J. Woloszyn on Dec. 23, 2011. They were married on Oct. 6, 1956.

Whether it was cutting the grass or gardening, Doris enjoyed the outdoors. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and ceramics, but mostly the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who gave her the most pleasure.

Doris is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Sue Woloszyn of Shenango Township; her son-in-law, Denny Stabryla of Chewton; her sister, Eleanor Burns of Wurtemburg; three grandchildren, Andi and Robert Stein, Joshua and Tricia Woloszyn and Treasa and Scott Ross; and nine great-grandchildren, Genevieve Stein, Sebastian Stein, Isaiah Woloszyn, Madison Woloszyn, Steven Woloszyn, Araya Ross, Isabella Ross, Scott Ross Jr. and Alexis Ross.

Besides her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Stabryla; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Woloszyn; and three brothers, Sam, Donnie and Ted Wallace.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, and from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at the Joseph A. Tomon Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 97 Grim Ave., Ellport.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Milnes officiating.

Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Cemetery.
