New Castle, PA - Dorothy M. Fraschetti, 90, of New Castle passed away the morning of March 4, 2026, at Jameson Care Center.
Born Feb. 18, 1936, in New Castle, Dorothy was the daughter of the late William Downs and Blanche Eleanor Shaner Downs.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Fraschetti Jr. The two were married Sept. 15, 1955.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Barbara Proch and John Freschetti III; two brothers, Ralph Leroy Downs and William Downs; two sisters, Gail Burris and Mary Kelly; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Downs.
Honoring her wishes, there is no viewing or service. The family will have a Celebration of Life Dinner at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ed & Don DeCarbo Funeral Home & Crematory, 941 S. Mill St.
