Elaine Mangino Porterfield
June 26, 1944 - March 29, 2026
Elaine M. Mangino Porterfield, 81, of New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, passed away the morning of March 29, 2026, at Grove Manor Nursing Center in Grove City.
Born June 26, 1944, in New Castle, Elaine was the daughter of the late Frank "Snooky" Mangino and Eleanor Dettore Mangino.
In February 1963, Elaine married her beloved husband, Charles D. Porterfield. Charles preceded her in death March 3, 2008.
In the early years, Elaine had worked as a clerk at May's Donuts and then Bill's Bake Shoppe.
Elaine was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Vitus Church.
She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elaine's greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elaine is survived by her three children, Traci Fauzey (John), Dinene Marshall-Quigley (Charles) and Kristine Porterfield King (Shawn); six grandchildren, Janele Fava (Ryan), Jonathan Fauzey (Claire), Ryan Maggie, Dylan Marshall, Logan Quigley and Peyton Heath (Kirk); and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Elaine was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Mangino.
Honoring her wishes, a private Blessing Service will be held at Parkside Mausoleum with Father Joseph Freedy officiating. Entombment will be at Parkside Mausoleum.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
