New Castle, PA - Elizabeth A. Kerr Aven, 63, of New Castle passed away the evening of Feb. 22, 2026, at her residence.

Born Aug. 29, 1962, in New Castle, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Robert C. Kerr Sr. and her mother, Geraldine Stofick Kerr, who survives in New Castle.

Elizabeth had worked as a hotel receptionist in Hutchinson Island, Florida, then as a hostess at the Crane Room in New Castle. She had been working at Bealls Shop as a sales clerk.

She was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary Church.

Elizabeth loved music and animals. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, Jace.

In addition to her mother, Elizabeth is survived by her brother, Robert Kerr Jr.; her sister, Natalie Kerr Panzico (Bobby Ray); and her grandson, Jace Daniel Aven.

In addition to her father, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her son, Daniel Aven.

Family and Friends will gather at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, at Holy Spirit Parish, St. Mary Church, for a Mass of Christian burial. Father Benjamin Barr will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
