New Castle, PA - Elizabeth N. (Sawyer) Greene, 38, of New Castle passed away the morning of Aug. 7, 2025, at her residence.
Elizabeth was born June 23, 1987, in Santa Clara, California. She is survived by her father, Phillip N. Sawyer, and stepmother, Cecelia (Grimes) Ryan.
She married the love of her life, John Greene, on July 19, 2025. He survives.
Elizabeth Was a graduate of Neshannock High School and attended PTI.
One of her greatest passions and loves was her dog, JP.
In her youth, she attended Northminster Presbyterian Church.
She will be dearly missed by her friends and family, especially her father. Elizabeth was truly the light of her father's life and the apple of his eye. She was most assuredly "daddy's girl."
In addition to her, father, stepmother and husband, Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Michelle Vogetmen; and one sister.
She was preceded in passing by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and one sister.
Visitation and memorial service were held privately at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Rev. Chuck Fombelle officiated.
